The EmpowHER Initiative

In 2019, the B.A. Rudolph Foundation created the EmpowHER Initiative– an application-based, 8-week intensive summer program in Washington, D.C. designed for progressive women. EmpowHER helps participants, who already have Washington, D.C.-based internships, prepare for and succeed in their positions—and help to launch their careers. And (perhaps most importantly), EmpowHER invites participants into a lifelong network of supportive BA Women—the ultimate feminist girl gang.

Applications for the summer of 2019 will be open until March 31st.  Please visit the EmpowHER website to apply, or for more details.

The EmpowHER program accepts applications for scholarships, funded by the B.A. Rudolph Foundation, to help offset the EmpowHER program tuition as well as summer living expenses during your internship. These scholarships are awarded to the women who embody what it means to be a BA Woman and demonstrate significant financial need.

The Foundation awards both full and partial scholarships to the $6,000 EmpowHER program; as well as a living stipend for select participants.
